Care for active bodies

Your sport is specific. Your care should be too.

Sports injuries rarely happen in isolation. Training load, technique, recovery, mobility, strength and the demands of your sport can all influence how you feel and perform.

We start by understanding what happened, what your activity requires and what you need to do with confidence again. Your plan may combine hands-on care, exercise, load management and a gradual return to training.

Train for the demands ahead

Recovery is more than waiting for pain to settle.

A useful return-to-sport plan rebuilds the movements, capacity and confidence your activity requires. Progress should reflect your symptoms, function and response to increasing demands—not a calendar alone.

  • Identify the movements and loads that matter in your sport
  • Restore mobility, strength and control progressively
  • Reintroduce practice demands in manageable stages
  • Adjust training and recovery strategies as you improve

Sports care topics

Support from first assessment to confident return.

Your plan may involve one or several of these areas depending on the injury, your sport and your stage of recovery. Each topic is structured to support a dedicated resource page in the future.

Assess what matters

Your evaluation may include mobility, strength, balance and sport-specific movement based on your symptoms.

Hands-on care and progressive exercise are used to address current limitations and prepare for greater load.

Return with confidence

Training demands are reintroduced gradually, with the plan adjusted to your function and response.

Common questions

Clear answers for active people.

Sports injuries vary widely. An assessment helps determine whether conservative care is appropriate or whether imaging, medical evaluation or another provider is needed.

Do I need to stop my sport completely while recovering? +

Not always. Some injuries require temporary rest from specific activities, while others can be managed by adjusting volume, intensity or movement. Your plan should protect recovery while maintaining safe activity where possible.

How do I know when I am ready to return? +

Readiness depends on the injury and sport. Symptoms, mobility, strength, control, confidence and the ability to tolerate sport-specific demands may all matter. Return is usually a progression rather than one pass-or-fail test.

Can you help with concussion return to play? +

A suspected concussion requires appropriate medical assessment. Return to sport should be gradual and supervised by a qualified health professional, with no progression when symptoms return or worsen.

Is sports chiropractic only for competitive athletes? +

No. Recreational athletes, active workers, beginners and weekend athletes can all benefit from care tailored to the activities they value.
